Nerja boasts a wide variety of shops, from independent designer boutiques to traditional family run butchers, grocers and bakers.  You will find hand made craft stores, wine and spirit merchants, shops selling clothes and shoes, handmade leather goods and jewellery, books, electrical goods, perfume and jewellery.  The main shopping areas are around the Balcon De Europa, on Calle Diputacion and on Calle Pintada.For food shopping there are several large supermarkets.  Two Super Sols, one on Calle Antonio Ferrandis and the other on Avenida Pescia, a Mercadona on Calle Chaparil, and a Mas, also on Calle Antonio Ferrandis.  There is also a Lidl on the Frigiliana road.

Small supermarkets are everywhere, including several Coviran branches.  If you are looking for English or Dutch products Foodstore Andaluz on Calle Pintada has an excellent selection at very good prices.

For fresh meat seek out an independent butcher, who will provide far more choice than the supermarkets, and provide a personal service.  mini sex dolls There are several fishmongers, and numerous greengrocers which also offer a wider selection than the supermarkets.

The nearest out of town shopping centre is El Ingenio in Velez Malaga, a 15 minute drive along the motorway towards Malaga.  Malaga itself has all the major retailers, including the department store El Corte Ingles, Ikea and Leroy Merlin, a DIY store.
