The roadworks on Calle Alejandro Bueno (next to Plaza Cantarero) have now been finished, leaving the road in a much better state than it was originally. Although some locals are complaining about the loss of car parking spaces down the left hand side of the road, the new much wider pavements and raised pedestrian crossing in the middle means that the street is finally accessible to people with prams and wheelchairs. New drains and water pipes were installed whilst the road was dug up as part of the on-going improvements to the town’s sewerage system.
