It is possible to live in Nerja for many years without being lucky enough to see dolphins off the coast. Many people do, but unfortunately the first dolphin I get to see is a dead one.
This morning a male dolphin appeared on Carabeo Beach. There has been pretty rough weather in the Nerja area over the past couple of days and perhaps that is what has brought the body ashore.
The Proteccion Civil in Nerja were quickly on the scene to remove the dolphin.
