Last week Burriana was the set for a TV commercial for mobile phone company Orange. This weekend a sports promotional video was filmed there, for Circuito Popular de Lanzamientos.
The video will be shown on various national TV channels and featured, amongst others, the Spanish Olympic javelin thrower Mercedes Chilla, shot putter Borja Vivas from Malaga, and the Olympic shot putter Manuel Martínez.
Members from Nerja’s Athletics Club also took part in the video, throwing Vortexes (a finned ball) demonstrating how they can be used as an introduction to throwing sports.
Filming will continue in a total of 10 Spanish locations including Bilbao, Málaga, Asturias, León, Cataluña, Castellón and Murcia.
