On Sunday the 28th of February 2016, Nerja’s streets will again be taken over by bicycles for the annual Dia Del Pedal (Day of the Pedal). The event, which takes place every year on Andalucia day will see thousands of cyclists crammed into the narrow roads, slowly making their way around the town.
The start and finish is on the Balcon de Europa, with the route as follows; Diputación, Castilla Pérez, Mediterráneo, Antonio Ferrandis ‘Chanquete’, San Miguel, Cantarero, Alejandro Bueno, Herrera Oria, Ruperto Andues, Torrox, Huertos, Pintada, Puerta del Mar.
