Nerja Feria 2013 officially opens its doors to the public tonight, starting at 8.30pm at the portico (at the entrance to the Calle Carabeo/Los Huertos car park) with a performance by the Municipal Band and Son Del Arte presented by local singer Antonio Cortes.
This will be followed by fireworks as the lights are switched on at 9.30pm, when all the attractions will be opened.
At 11.30pm the election for the Queen and Knight of the Feria 2013 will take place in the Caseta Municipal (the large marquee), with dancing from the Academia de Baile de Elena, Ángela Márquez, Dany Vikario, Cristian David Callejón, Sun Diamond and Chandé presented by Mariló Padial and Alberto Díaz.
The Nerja Feria continues until Sunday the 13th of October with a full programme of events each day. Tomorrow, Thursday, is a public holiday. Nerja Feria 2013 Guide
