A packed Balcon de Europa enjoys a spectacular firework display to welcome in 2015 as the church clock chimes midnight.
Last night’s celebrations included live music performed by two different bands, and at midnight UK time a man in a kilt played the bagpipes for the benefit of anyone still on Greenwich time. The party went on into the small hours leaving behind empty champagne bottles, party hats and uneaten grapes.
The festive season isn’t over yet in Nerja, with the Three Kings Parade on Monday the 5th.
