Fireworks, bonfires, music and dancing at Burriana beach Nerja for this year’s San Juan 2013. Nerja council organised a huge bonfire and fireworks which were set off at midnight, along with a stage with live music in front of the beach packed with people enjoying the party. As the midnight fireworks were set off, many people braved the chilly sea temperatures to take a dip, although most didn’t go in further than the ankles.
The brightest full moon of the year helped to light up the beach, along with the barbecues and bonfires that individual people had lit.
The party went on into dawn at Burriana and the other beaches in the town. More pictures below.
