The Royal Postmen will be visiting Nerja this afternoon (Friday) and will also make a stop in Maro, ahead of the arrival of the Three Kings on Sunday. The Postmen will be here to collects the letters from the town’s children, detailing what Christmas presents they want to receive on Three Kings day (Los Reyes) on Monday.
The Postmen (Cartero Real) will be in Plaza de España (behind the Ayuntamiento building by the Balcon de Europa) at 5pm, where there will be a party with the children’s theatre group La Carpa. Drawing books, pencils and sweets will be handed out to the children who bring their letters. There will be a total of three postmen, one for each of the Three Kings.
On Saturday the 4th the Postmen will make another stop at the Barriada de los Poetas at midday and then in Plaza Andalucia at 4.30pm and in Maro at 5.30pm at the Centro Municipal de Usos Múltiples.
The Three Kings parade itself will be on Sunday the 5th of January starting at 5pm at Parque Verano Azul, and also in Maro on the 6th at midday.
