J. Russell Finch: And I give you my word. My wife wanted to stop for you, I wanted to stop for you, he wanted to stop for you. But tell him, tell him how my mother in-law made us drive right by him…
Lennie Pike: Listen, anything you got to say about your mother in-law, you don’t have to explain to me. You know what I mean? Like if she were the star of a real crummy horror movie, I’d believe it.

Through NO FAULT OF THE CINE CLUB, the film Wadjda, which had been originally been scheduled for Wednesday 26 February, has been rescheduled for Friday 28 February, 7 pm.
Wadjda is the breakthrough film of a generation, with a 99% Fresh rating from critics worldwide. Do try to make it despite the change of date!
“This is not just the first feature by Haifaa Al Mansour but the first feature to be directed by a woman from Saudi Arabia. That is quite a burden, and yet by some miracle the movie bears it with lightness and grace.” – New Yorker
Tickets are €5 per film (including a drink) or €10 for all of this month’s films. The venue is the Nerja Cultural Centre.
