| Many people come to Nerja to get married at the Iglesia San Salvador and then have their pictures taken on the Balcon de Europa. However for one couple from Cordoba even the spectacular setting of the Balcon wasn’t enough to tempt them and instead they opted to get married underwater at the aquarium in Benalmadena, with a backdrop of sharks and tropical fish.
The mayor of Benalmadena Paloma García Gálvez, officiated at the ceremony at the Sealife Centre for Mónica Fraile and Fran Calvo who were dressed in their full wedding outfits. The bride said it was her dream to be married in a fish tank, surrounded by sharks. |
