Description

Our house near Nerja is a two bedroom villa/bungalow which sleeps 4 adults comfortably and is situated about 1 mile south of Nerja town on Urbanisation Tropicana. It is approximately 200 metres from the nearest beach and restaurant and enjoys a sea view from the terrace. Nerja is an essentially Spanish town 1 mile away and can be reached by the coastal road or alternatively along a beach path (approx. 20 mins walk) which is illuminated at night.


The villa has two bedrooms, one with double bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers, and ceiling fan, the other with twin beds, wardrobe, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, and ceiling fan.


The bathroom is fully tiled with bath and overhead shower, WC, wash basin and illuminated vanity mirror.


The kitchen has recently fitted maple units, and is fully equipped with oven, ceramic hob, washing machine, fridge freezer with freezer blocks, microwave, kettle, toaster and good range of pots, pans, crockery and glassware.


The large lounge/dining room has 2 seater and 3 seater settees, flat screen satellite TV, DVD player, CD player, extending dining table with 4 chairs, free standing fan, portable gas fire and blankets for winter use, (gas bottle refills not included).


Outisde there is a terrace with sea views and steps lead down to a grassed area. There is a patio dining table with 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers and umbrellas for when the sun gets too hot.


There is a large communal pool nearby.


Linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

Local Amenities and Nerja

The nearest beach is Playazo, which is a 5 minute walk from Tropicana. There are several beach bars and restaurants along this beach and you can follow the path alongside the beach into Nerja (approx 20 minutes walk). Alternatively you can walk along the main road. There is a regular bus service into Nerja from outside the Marinas de Nerja Hotel and a taxi ride into town costs around 7 Euros.

Nerja has 8 beaches in all, many with the Blue Flag award, and the unspoilt Spanish town retains its charm, particularly in the old town with its narrow streets and traditional tapas bars. The famous Balcon De Europa, with its incredible panoramic views, is the focal point of Nerja and cannot be missed. For shopping Calle Pintada is the main destination, and a weekly outdoor market is held on Tuesdays. Festivals take place throughout the year and are always a highlight for those in Nerja at the time.

As a base for touring the eastern Costa Del Sol Nerja is perfect. Malaga is only an hour away by car, Granada a couple of hours and the beautiful inland mountains and villages on the doorstep.
