Casa Cielo Alto 2 bed villa is totally private and secluded, not overlooked by any other properties or roads. Situated off the Torrox - Competa road high on Mount Torrox surrounded by old olive groves and vineyard giving you breathtaking views of the Mediterranean sea, surrounding hillsides and the Sierra Tajeda mountain range with Mount Maroma (the highest point) straight across.

There is an 8x4m pool with large sun terrace, where from approx 9am there is uninterrupted sunshine all day until late evening, when you can sit and watch the amazing sunsets, and then with no light pollution, you see a wonderful night sky. The road off the A-7207 up to the property is accessible with any vehicle which is mainly tarmac that turns into a good track through vineyards and old olive groves. This villa is our holiday home and not purely a rental property so we ask that you treat it with respect and in view of this non smokers only please.

Accommodation

There are 2 bedrooms, the master with king size bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers and en-suite with bath/shower, WC and basin. The second bedroom has twin beds, large wardrobe and chest of drawers.

In addition to the en-suite bathroom there is another with shower, wc and basin.

There is a luxury new fitted English kitchen with granite worktops, under unit lighting, cooker, dishwasher, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and sandwich toaster. A utility room has the washing machine, iron and ironing board, dryer and pegs. Please note, that you will need to supply your own washing powder.

In the large spacious lounge you will find comfortable furnishing with two and 3 seater settees, coffee table, dining table and chairs, TV with Sky satellite, DVD player with small selection of DVDs, double futon, wood burning fire, games cupboard etc.

The large 8m x 4m pool is 1.5m deep and has built-in walk in steps and internal lights, for evening swimming. There is a poolside shower. There is a very large terrace with outside lights where you can sit and enjoy the evenings after the sun has gone down. Patio furniture includes tables and chairs, sun loungers, parasols. A chimenea BBQ for al fresco dining. There is also a shaded pergola with roll down blinds where you can sit and relax in the shade.

Towels and linen are included, but please bring your own beach towels

The property is all on one level but there are some steps to both entrances.

Further Details

Ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Bedroom windows are fitted with fly screens, so can be left open all night. There are also portable fans for your use. Oil filled heaters are available if required. We have a wood burning stove in the living room, logs can be bought locally or in the supermarkets. Cot with bedding available. There is no safety fence around the pool, so children must be supervised at all times. A welcome pack is available if required, payment to be made to our caretakers. We have a very good mobile phone reception at our property so you can still be in contact with friends & family if you wish to. Please note that this villa is available to non-smoking guests only thank you. Hire car is essential. Please note that the pool is closed from mid October until mid April.

Holiday start dates are flexible and breaks shorter than one week are possible.

About The Area

Villa Casa Cielo is located in a beautiful setting, high in the hills above Torrox on the way to Competa. The views from the property are magnificent, taking in the mountains of Sierra Tajeda and the Mediterranean in the distance. A car is essential for a stay here but the beaches, bars and restaurants of Torrox Costa and Nerja are only a 20 minute drive away and the whitewashed village of Competa only a 10 minute drive inland. The Sierra Tajeda national park is wonderful for those who like walking and hiking.

As a base for touring the eastern Costa Del Sol Nerja is perfect. Malaga is only an hour or so away, Granada a couple of hours and the beautiful inland mountains and villages on the doorstep.
