The Municipal Exhibition Centre on Calle Cristo in Nerja hosts an exhibition about Charles Darwin from January 11th to the 24th.
This exhibition was inaugurated at the ‘Principia Centro de Ciencia’ in Malaga in February 2009 as part of the commemoration of the bicentennial of the birth of the great naturalist. Nerja now has the opportunity to see this interesting and educational presentation.
The exhibition consists of 24 panels explaining the theory of evolution in addition to the life and work of Darwin. It also includes information on the scientists who influenced Darwin and those who further developed his theories after the publication of ‘On the Origin of Species’, such as Linnaeus, Lamarck, Lyell and Wallace.
The opening times are 11am to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm.
