Update September 2015: Summer has taken its toll on Bar Turry, so we can't recommend it at the moment. Perhaps in the winter, with fewer customers it will be worth trying again, but at the moment, go elsewhere. La Marina on the same square is worth trying, reasonably priced drinks, good tapas and good service. Order the gambas as a tapa with your drink and you will get a large plate of cooked prawns in the shell.

This popular local tapas bar was originally located on Calle Cristo, but closed in 2013. After a long wait, Bar Turry has opened for business again, but in a different part of town; Plaza Marina (near to the centre), including a small terrace out the front, with a few tables and chairs.

The bar serves free tapas with your drinks, plus has a menu of snacks and rations to order from, all at reasonable prices. The new owners are friendly and welcoming and serve a good selection of different tapas dishes, including fish and meat.

The bar itself is narrow with stools at the bar and tables and chairs at the back and is well worth seeking out, tucked away at the back of the square.
