Plaza del Olvido Nerja

Plaza del Olvido Nerja

Plaza del Olvido is a small square just off Los Huertos not far from the Parador hotel and near to the Carabeo car park. The square has two restaurants on it, the very popular Joannies and the newly opened (summer 2013) Fusion. Buskers, some better than others, often perform at Plaza del Olvido and there is plenty of room for children to run around and enjoy themselves while their parents have dinner.

Apartamentos Plaza del Olvido are also on the square and have around 12 self-catering apartments available for holiday lets. This is a very convenient location for the centre of Nerja and for the beaches, but beware the car park behind is used as the Feria ground in October which is very noisy until late into the night.

Los Huertos is the street that runs from the roundabout with the fountain by the Parador hotel and runs all the way across to Calle Cristo. The street is lined with restaurants, shops and bars.

The square has Calle Frigiliana on one side, which runs down to Calle Carabeo, the pedestrianised street that goes from the end of Burriana beach to the Balcon de Europa.
