Just in time for Semana Santa, El Chucho beach (opposite the Perla Marina Hotel) in Nerja is being repared, with new sand being laid on the beach where it was washed away duing winter storms.
Meanwhile on the next beach over, Torrecilla, workmen are building a new wall on the footpath down to the beach, to replace the existing rusty metal raliings, installed in 2000. The budget for this first part of the project, is €50,000 and will cover around 200m of railings.
