As announced last week by the mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, the tender documents for the new water treatment plant have been published both in the Spanish Boletín Oficial del Estado and in the Official Journal of the EU (OJEU). This is the recognised way to invite tenders for state infrastructure projects.
Companies interested in the project have until the 21st of May to apply. Technical bids have to be submitted by the 21st of May and the financial proposals by September 13th.
The total budget for the project is around €40 million and the completion date is in 2015.
