The XIII Diá del Caracol (Day of the Snail) will be held in Riogordo in Málaga province tomorrow, Sunday the 3rd of June 2012.
The event starts at midday by the municipal swimming pool and there will be Golden Snail awards for the local bakery and for the captain of the basketball team.
Visitors can also sample a culinary specialty of Riogordo – snail soup, followed by music and dancing.
Riogordo is near to Lake Viñuela, to the west of Nerja.
