Nerja’s Balcon de Europa has been named by Spanish daily newspaper ABC as one of the 10 Best Viewpoints in Spain. According to the paper, the Balcon is “part of the Spanish collective imagination thanks to the television series Verano Azul . The figurehead, which is located on the Mediterranean, allows visitors to enjoy a privileged view over the coast of the Axarquia.”
The Balcon de Europa is seventh on ABC’s list, with the Collserola Tower in Barcelona in number one position. The Mirador de San Nicolás, in Granada, the Mirador del Puente Nuevo in Ronda and the Mirador del Estrecho in Tarifa are three more locations in Andalucia that also made it onto ABC’s top 10.
