We reported back in March that the local council were replacing the low marble blocks in Plaza Cavana, used to mark the boundary of the pedestrian area, after requests from local people.

The blocks prevent cars and delivery vehicles from parking on the pedestrian area, but according to the Councillor for Infrastructure Antonio GarcĂa, can be a trip-hazard to pedestrians.

The council have now moved on to the blocks on the Balcon de Europa, and are in the process of replacing them with full sized metal bollards as can be seen in the picture above.
