A charity art exhibition is being held in the Sala Municipal in Nerja’s Calle Cristo (Post Office Street) until the 14th of August. The exhibition is in aid of AFADINE – Asociación de Familiares y Amigos de Discapacitados de Nerja.
The show is the brainchild of the painter Elisabet Arana and Juan RodrÃguez the photographer and features the work of various artists including, Rafael MartÃn, José Guevara, Vicente Rivera, Coby Bloemisma and Ana MartÃn.
The works from Elisabet Arana and Juan RodrÃguez are from a series based on five years of travels in different countries such as Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Peru, Ecuador, Nepal and India.
AFADINE was founded in 2006 to offer support and assistance to improve the quality of life of children with disabilities.
