Dia de la Cruz (Day of the Cross) 2018 takes place on Thursday the 3rd of May, with a total of 10 crosses on display in Nerja and Maro. These brightly decorated crosses will be the focal points for street parties throughout the afternoon with music and dancing at the different locations.
Maps showing the locations of all the crosses are available from the tourist information office on the Balcon de Europa and visitors are invited to take a tour around the town to see all the crosses in their splendour.
There will be prizes awarded by the council, including for the best cross in this traditional May fiesta.
