The Dog Rescue Unit from the Malaga Provincial Fire Brigade have today joined the search for the 63 year old British tourist who was last seen on Saturday heading into the Natural Park by the Nerja Caves.
The dog unit will be working with the Guardia Civil who are heading the search operation. The Canine Rescue Unit was recently created and is managed by the dog handler and firefighter Rafael Porras, who handles Kira, a Spanish water dog, and Mara, a Belgian shepherd bitch.
The provincial deputy chairman of the Malaga Provincial Fire Brigade, Abdeslam Lucena, has praised the hard work being done by the Guardia Civil, the Firefighters and the local Civil Protection volunteers in this search effort.
