This year’s “Empulpate” was held over the weekend at the Nerja Cultural Centre, featuring children from local schools showing off their entertainment skills. The competition is organised by the local Parent’s Association and Nerja’s Education and Culture department.
This year’s festival was presented by Cristian Callejón and the winner was Luis Ángel who demonstrated his stunt riding skills on his bicycle.
Second place went to Marina Weber Pezzi with a piano and dance routine.
Third place was won by a group called Mad Casino, made up by Griselda, Angelo, Fernando, Marco y Daniel.
All the people taking part received gifts donated by local businesses and certificates from the Parent’s Association and the Council.
The show was completely sold out, so much so that extra seating had to be laid on to fit everyone into the Cultural Centre.
