Nerja’s second “Ruta de La Tapa” (Tapas Trail) starts on Friday the 1st of May 2015 and lasts the whole month. This year there are a total of 17 different tapas bars taking part across the town, from Torrecilla over to Burriana, each offering a tapa and a caña (small beer) for a set price of €1.80. There will also be a prize draw to win dinner for four in the winning restaurant, for all those taking part who visit a minimum of nine different bars.

You can pick up a “Passport” for the the event from the tourist office at the entrance to the Balcon de Europe, which has details of all the bars taking part, a map and instructions on how to enter the draw.

The route starts at Nico Tapas over at Torrecilla beach, and goes via La Holandesa (near Tutti Frutti), Pacomari (in the old town), Mo Gastrotapas (near the Villa Flamenca Hotel) and finishes at Tapas Plaza (at Burriana).
