Calle Filipinas Nerja Planned Park
Malaga County Council have proposed a new park for Nerja on the corner of Calle Filipinas and Calle Pescia (the main road above Burriana beach) where the temporary fire station currently stands. The total area consists of over 11,000 square metres and the total budget for the project is nearly €300,000.

The proposed park would run down the hill towards Burriana beach (alongside Calle Filipinas) and have woodlands, shrubs and lawns, a pergola with benches, a water feature of 418 square metres between the existing palm trees. In addition there will be footpaths with fitness equipment, a skate park suitable for hockey practice, a playground and a petanque area.

The plans have been put together by planners at the Diputación Provincial de Málaga.
