After the summer like weather of the past week, the rain has been falling in Nerja today, with around half an inch of rain this morning. A building in Calle Animas (pictured) was cordoned off by the police, after the rain caused masonry to fall from the balconies.
The rain also meant that Nerja Danza on the Balcon de Europa was cancelled at lunchtime, with the performance taking place at the Nerja Cultural Centre instead. If the rain continues tomorrow as forecast, Nerja Danza will be at the Cultural Centre again.
There is also Beach Volleyball scheduled tomorrow Friday the 26th of October in Plaza España (behind the town hall at the Balcon de Europa) at 4.30pm. This is part of the Provincial Tour organised by Malaga County Council. With more rain forecast for tomorrow, its possible that this event will be cancelled or moved indoors.
