The Sala Mercado in Nerja is exhibiting works of the painter Miguel Montalvo, a native of Granada, from January 13th to the 27th.
Each of his paintings is an explosion of colour, with a light and rich palette, both symbolic and mysterious. It can be described as neo-impressionistic. The artist concentrates on nature and the beauty of the landscapes that are hidden from the modern city dweller, a prisoner in the concrete that is the landscape of their daily life.
The Sala Mercado is in Plaza de la Ermita and the opening times are 11am to 2pm and 6pm to 9pm.
