Málaga Airport (also known as Malaga Costa Del Sol Airport and Pablo Ruiz Picasso Airport) is located 8km southwest of Malaga and is accessible by road and rail. The airport has flight connections to over 60 countries worldwide and has three terminals and one runway. A second runway is due to open in 2012.
Nerja is less than an hours drive from Malaga Airport (around 60km of mainly motorway) or you can take a taxi, or if you have time, you can take the bus (via Malaga city).
Trains also run into Malaga centre and on to Torremolinos.
