Carabeillo Beach Nerja
Carabeillo Beach is accessed via steps at the end of Calle Carabeo. Guests at the Parador Hotel have the luxury of being able to use their own private lift to reach the sand, the rest of us have to walk. Facilities are limited to showers but you can reach Burriana Beach from here, as the two beaches are joined.
Carabeillo beach is often much quieter than Burriana, and is the starting or ending point of what used to be a coastal path to Calahonda Beach. The path still exists but is officially closed due to safety concerns after rockfalls. If you are adventurous you can follow the path in either direction, and discover a few isolated coves on your way, but be aware that there is a small climb to be negotiated and of course there is the danger of further rock falls.
