Between now and the middle of September, businesses in the pedestrianised centre of Nerja have been reminded that they can only put their non-organic rubbish out for collection between 2 and 3 in the afternoon Monday to Friday. This is in an effort to make sure the streets are clean and free of cardboard boxes and other waste materials cluttering up the pavements.

The streets affected are Diputación, Carmen, Puerta del Mar, Pintada, Cruz and Angustias.
