Nerja’s Calahonda beach was the scene of a fire last night, when one of the wooden fisherman’s huts burnt to the ground.
The beach, next to the town’s Balcon de Europa, is one of Nerja’s most picturesque and appears in every tourist photo.
The cause of the fire, which occurred at around midnight, is not known.
