Nerja council have announced that this year’s Residents Day will have a total of 39 exhibitors taking part, two more than the previous record of 37. The event takes place on Sunday the 14th of April 2013 from midday until 7pm (or the following Sunday if bad weather causes a postponement). Residents Day is held in Plaza España behind the Ayuntamiento builiding by the Balcon de Europa. Last year’s event was postponed for a week due to the threat of rain.

There will be the usual mix of live entertainment on the big stage, local associations and businesses providing stalls and information on their activities, as well as refreshments and typical food from the different countries represented. One of the highlights of the entertainment will be the Municipal Band performing live, who will open the event.
