Every year the Nerja Carnival is held at the start of February and for Nerja Carnival 2013 the organisers are planning to hold an exhibition in the run up to the festival. They are asking for the loan of costumes, accessories and old photos from past Carnivals to put on display.
Anyone who has something they think would be of interest can take them along on Monday morning (19th of November) to the Oficina de Atención Ciudadana on the 1st floor of the Ayuntamiento building by the Balcon de Europa. Old photos will be scanned and returned to their owners within 10 days. The organisers are looking for Carnival photos of individuals, groups, nymphs and fools from years gone by. If you have clothes or other props from old Carnivals to lend you can contact the organisers through their page on Facebook (there is a link on the MyNerja facebook page).
