Nominations have opened for this year’s Nerja Busker Of The Year Award with a good crop of new entrants, including the Telly Savalas look-alike (pictured) whose act involves playing the castanets whilst dressed up in a sparkly suit. Other nominations included the German organ grinder and the a cappella flamenco singer (normally heard bothering cafe-goers around the Balcon de Europa).

Luckily the female singer with the amplifier on wheels has not been seen (and more importantly heard) for a couple of years, presumably polishing up her act as Bulgaria’s entry for the Eurovision Song Contest.
