The old hermitage of San Isidro, that used to be the focal point of the San Isidro celebrations back in the 1970s and 80s, is now looking slightly worse for wear, with a door hanging off and graffiti. The hilltop has fabulous 360º views over Nerja, with the mountains behind and the sea in front and is strewn with rusty old bottle tops, a reminder of the many San Isidro fiestas held on the hill.
