Strange cloud formations over the mountains behind Maro, taken from Burriana Beach December 21st 2012 – the day the world is due to end according to the Mayan calendar. Despìte this being the first day of winter, Nerja recorded a high of 20.2 °C at 1pm – an hour or so after winter officially started.
