Can you identify this dragonfly that I spotted on the washing line on my terrace in the centre of Nerja this morning?
It must be one of the last to be seen this year, now the rain and cold nights are starting to move in.
I thought it might be a Brown Aeshna (Hawker) but I am no expert and got that information from a book I have on wildlife of Europe. As there are only a few listed there out of so many different kinds of dragonflies and damselflies that is just a guess.
