Nerja council´s Department of Popular Traditions have announced that registrations are open for the San Isidro festival which takes place on May the 15th.
Individuals and associations who want to enter a cart in the procession or have a stall at the Nerja Caves grounds have until May 5th to apply to the council for permission.
San Isidro is one of the most popular festivals, when the whole town seems to decamp in a massive colourful parade, to the park surrounding the Maro caves and to party until the very early hours. If you are in Nerja on the 15th of May this ia a festival not to miss.
