It has been reported that a woman close to retirement age, died of a sudden heart attack after attending the council organised dinner at Ayo’s restaurant at Burriana Beach. The woman, María Velasco from Maro, was taking part in the dancing just before midnight, when she suffered the heart attack. Despite the best efforts of the emergency services who were at the event, they were unable to revive her.
The funeral took place yesterday in El Morche.
