Channel 4 will be in Nerja next week to film a new episode of the popular British TV show “A Place In The Sun: Home or Away”. Channel 4 previously filmed an episode here in October last year, which was broadcast in January 2014.
The show’s presenter Sara Damergi, took recently divorced Rajula Jasani, to see various properties in the towns around Nerja (although none in Nerja itself). She was looking for a property with outside space and a pool, for her and her twin sons to use as a holiday property, with a budget of up to £100,000.
The new episode will be recorded next week during the Semana Santa parades, and will also film around the town in popular locations such as the beaches and the Balcon de Europa.
The previous episode was criticised for failing to look at a single property from Nerja itself, despite featuring the town. Hopefully this will be redressed in the new instalment.
