The BBC are going to be in Nerja during the first week of August filming an episode of the CBeebies series Woolly and Tig.

The show takes the form of short, five-minute live action dramas about a three year old girl and her toy spider. The dramas explore the feelings that children have when faced with new experiences. For the episode to be filmed in Nerja, the show will look at the experience of going abroad on holiday for the first time, meeting and playing with other children who don’t speak English and trying different types of food.

The episode will be filmed in a hotel, the streets of Nerja and of course the Balcon de Europa and various beaches. The Municipal Dance School will also take part in the filming, which will have the co-operation and assistance of Nerja council itself, who are keen to encourage the use of the town as a location for many different types of TV and film productions.
