On October 31st, Halloween night, Maro will be celebrating with the Maroween Festival taking place in the main square in the village.
Sweet roast chestnuts and sweet potatoes will be given out free to all those attending this very popular event.
Live music is on the menu with local group Sonderlate and dance group Christian also appearing, and there will be a ‘pasacalles del terror’, a terror parade, along with prizes for the best fancy dress costumes.
The entertainment begins at 6pm and goes on until late.
Maro is a small village a few kilometres along the coast from Nerja and is easily reached by bus or taxi or even on foot.
