Just in time for Valentines day (or Día de los Enamorados in Spanish), the Youth Department at Nerja Council have organised a photo contest, for the best photo to depict a kiss between lovers or friends.
The photos have to be submitted before 12 noon on February the 12th at the Centro de Información Juvenil at number 12 Calle Cristo. The competition is open to everyone between the age of 14 and 35 and the photographs should be in colour or black and white on glossy or matte paper, no bigger than A4 size, with one entry per person.
The winner of the competition will receive as a prize dinner for two at a local restaurant.
And on the theme of Valentine’s night, Baker’s Bar on Burriana beach is having a Valentine’s Charity Bingo Night in aid of the Nerja Donkey Sanctuary. €14 gets you a starter, choice of main courses (Chicken Curry and rice, Chicken and chips or Scampi and chips) and a rose for the lady. Booking is advised.
