This years Dia Del Turista takes place today Wednesday 5th of September 2012. The events start at midday, when Pastora Soler will be officially named as Tourist of Honour 2012 at the town hall meeting room. Pastora Soler was Spain’s entry in this years Eurovision Song Contest.
At 1pm the exhibition of 16th to 19th century Russian icons owned by the Faustino Orbegozo Eizaguirre Foundation will be opened at the Nerja Museum. The exhibition will be on from September the 5th until September the 28th during the museum’s normal operning hours.
At 8pm on the Balcon de Europa there will be live music and dancing with the Dance School of Elena and the Cuban Band: “Yamila y los locos de la Habana”.
The night will end with fireworks on the Balcon.
