Can Sur Television closed their programme Andalucia Direct on Wednesday with a short report from Nerja, kayaking from the end of Burriana beach all the way to Maro beach. The kayaks passed through some of the hidden attractions along this rocky coastline, including the Cave Of The Merino Wolf, the Romero Garden and the cliff waterfall at Maro.

The presenter of Andalucia Direct, Modesto Barragán, introduced the piece saying “To visit paradise you don’t have to take a plane and travel thousands of kilometres” referring to the “super-clear water” and “white sandy seabed, with turquoise water” of this stretch of the coastline.

Kayaks can be hired from the eastern end of Burriana, where organised groups paddle out towards Maro. If you are fit enough and the water is flat calm, this is a treat not to be missed on your visit to Nerja.
