The registration period for Nerja’s Municipal Music and Dance School (Escuela Municipal de Música y Danza) is open until the end of this month (July) for the 2013-14 school year and you can enrol at the Cultural Centre on Calle Granada.
The new course will have different classes, such as electric guitar, flamenco guitar, blues and jazz. The dance classes will feature modern and regional dance, including sevillanas and rumba for the adults.
Nerja’s councillor for education and culture, Gema García, says that there has been a record number of enrollments this year compared to previous years and that this “demonstrates the quality of our Music and Dance School”.
