The Carmen Thyssen Museum Malaga is located in the old town centre of Malaga in the 16th Century Palace of Villalón. The museum houses around 230 works of art from Baroness Thyssen’s private collection of 19th-century Spanish paintings with a particular emphasis on Andalucia, with works by Picasso, Miro, Sorolla, Fortuny and Zuloaga amongst others.
Additionally the museum has temporary exhibitions that change on a regular basis.
The museum has about 77,000 sq. ft. of space and the palace was converted at a cost of over €10 million. A visit to the museum typically takes around and hour and a half.

10am to 8pm everyday except Mondays.
