This months “Salida Verde” goes from Alcaucín. Meet in Nerja at 9 o’clock at the station bus. The hike will depart from El Área Recreativa El Alcázar, 5 kms from Alcaucín pueblo at 10am. Difficulty: Low for 5 kms. Part of this route is the old trail up to la Maroma. We can see the ruins of an ancient city wall and towers of the Alcazar.
The return will be at around 1.30pm. Those who wish may stay to eat a great paella dish for €6 with drink in the restaurant River Recreation Area.
